Mumbai Airport Taxi: Cabs to and from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2

A Mumbai airport taxi from PayalCab takes you between your door and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM), whether you are flying out of Terminal 1 at Santacruz or Terminal 2 at Sahar in Andheri East, or landing at either. You see a fixed fare for the whole car before you book, you choose a car that fits your luggage, and the driver and car details reach you by SMS before pickup.

Where we pick up and drop

Airport transfers run to and from anywhere in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai, and on to Pune and Nashik:

  • South and Central Mumbai: Colaba, Fort, Nariman Point, Malabar Hill, Tardeo, Worli, Lower Parel and Dadar.
  • Western suburbs: Bandra, Khar, Juhu, Andheri, Goregaon, Malad, Kandivali and Borivali.
  • Eastern suburbs: Kurla, Chembur, Ghatkopar, Powai, Vikhroli and Mulund.
  • Thane: including Ghodbunder Road, Majiwada and Wagle Estate.
  • Navi Mumbai: Vashi, Nerul, Belapur, Kharghar and Panvel.
  • Outstation: from the airport to Pune or Nashik, and back.

How to book your airport cab

  1. On the booking form, choose the airport option, then enter the date, the time and your mobile number.
  2. Compare the cars, each shown with a fixed fare for the whole car, and pick one.
  3. Confirm your mobile number with the 4-digit code sent by SMS.
  4. Add the pickup address and notes, including your flight number, terminal and number of bags.
  5. Pay online by UPI, or choose to pay cash to the driver.

You then get a booking confirmation, and the driver and car details follow by SMS before pickup. Prefer to talk it through? Call or WhatsApp us on +91 70965 05911.

What to tell us

  • Your flight number. It helps us plan the pickup and sort things out quickly if the timing changes.
  • Your terminal. T1 and T2 are separate buildings, a few kilometres apart by road. Check your ticket for the terminal rather than going by a previous trip.
  • Passengers and bags. The number of large suitcases matters as much as the number of people when you choose a car.
  • A landmark near your address. It is especially useful for early-morning departures, when nobody has time to search for the right gate.

Meeting your driver at arrivals

Set the pickup time to your scheduled landing and put the flight number in the notes. Once you have collected your bags, call or message the driver using the details in your SMS, and follow the airport signs to the pickup area for private cars. Describe where you are standing, such as a gate number or a nearby sign, so you can find each other quickly. If your flight is delayed or lands early, call or WhatsApp us on +91 70965 05911 so we can rework the pickup with the driver.

Which car for your luggage

  • Hatchback (4 seats): one or two travellers with a suitcase and cabin bags.
  • Sedan (4 seats): around two large suitcases in a separate boot, plus cabin bags.
  • Ertiga (6 seats): more people, but little boot space when all six seats are in use.
  • Innova or Marazzo (6–7 seats): a family with several suitcases.
  • Innova Crysta (6–7 seats): similar space, and a comfortable choice for a long onward drive.
  • Tempo Traveller (16 seats): a group arriving together, with room for their bags.

These are rough guides, and bag sizes vary. If in doubt, go one size up.

Timing a departure in Mumbai traffic

Distances to the airport are short, but travel times are not. From South Mumbai it is roughly 20–25 km, and in peak traffic that can take over an hour. From the western suburbs the distance is smaller, but the roads around the airport are among the busiest in the city. From Thane and Navi Mumbai, the drive crosses the city and depends heavily on the hour. Start from the reporting time your airline asks for, add the road time from your area, and then add a buffer for traffic. On weekday mornings and evenings, and before long weekends, make that buffer generous.

Airport to Pune or Nashik

If you are landing in Mumbai and heading straight out of the city, the cab can take you all the way. Pune is about 150 km by the expressway, usually about 3 to 3.5 hours plus the time to cross the city from the airport; our Mumbai to Pune cab page has more on that drive. Nashik is about 170 km via the Kasara ghat, usually about 3.5 to 4.5 hours. Traffic changes both, so if you land in the evening rush, expect the first hour to be slow.

Fares and payment

The fare is fixed for the whole car and shown before you book, with 5% GST added at checkout. Whether toll and parking are included depends on the route and is shown in the fare breakdown before you pay. Airport trips can be paid online by UPI or in cash to the driver.

Questions riders ask

Anything else, call us — we answer round the clock.

It is a fixed fare for the route and the car you pick, shown before you book, with GST added on top and shown separately. The fare breakdown for each car lists what is included; parking and any entry fee paid on the day go directly to the driver.
By UPI when you book — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or any UPI app. You enter the transaction number, our team checks the payment and confirms your cab. For one-way, local and airport trips you can choose to pay the driver in cash instead.
Call us as early as you can and we will cancel the booking. Refunds follow our cancellation & refund policy.
You get the car class you booked. The exact model within that class depends on what is available on the day.
For a one-way journey, yes. You pay only for the distance you travel instead of the return leg as well, which is why these routes carry their own fixed price.
